Payments and Security

Payment for the Products can be made directly on the UniMi Website by credit card and/or electronic payment solutions (such as PayPal).

The Site guarantees the security of all payments made as the system is developed with Payplug's 3D-Secure (or 3DS) technology. 3DS technology protects buyers from fraudulent use of credit cards, adding a higher level of security before authorizing the payment.
When the User enters his/her bank details, he/she is automatically redirected to the website of his/her bank, where he/she is asked to confirm through a further identification process that he/she is the holder of the card used for the payment. This can be done, for example, by sending a code via SMS.

The Site using third-party payment platforms such as paypal and payplug will not need to save information relating to users' credit cards, such as the card number, it will also be possible to see the name of the user from whom the payment will come in order to connect it to the order placed.

If the charge of the amount due by the User is not successful, the user will receive an electronic communication with the invitation to pay the amount due within 7 days of receiving the aforementioned communication, with the warning that, in the event of failure to pay within the indicated term, the contract will be considered terminated pursuant to art. 1456 of the Civil Code. In the event that the User, within the 7-day period, makes the payment, Vipitalia will proceed with the preparation and shipment of the Products. The delivery term indicated during the purchase process will start from the day of payment and/or approval of the graphic draft (if applicable), whichever happens last.
